Long before this business existed, we were immersed in hospitality, travel, and service; but it was planning our own destination weddings that changed everything.
From two different perspectives — one shaped by years in the travel industry, the other by a lifelong connection to meaningful travel and gathering — we experienced just how much the travel side influences a wedding. Not just the logistics, but how connected, relaxed, and present everyone feels throughout the entire week.
And we noticed something troubling.
Again and again, couples were being left to manage the most complex parts of destination wedding planning on their own. Guest travel, contracts, timelines, and communication were treated like afterthoughts, even though they play a major role in the day itself.
We knew there had to be a better way.

I’ve been immersed in the travel and hospitality industry since 2005, with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism and a deep appreciation for thoughtful service and meaningful experiences.
When I got engaged, planning my own destination wedding felt like a natural step. Going through that process firsthand showed me just how much the travel side influences the entire celebration, from how guests feel when they arrive to how present and connected everyone can be throughout the week.
That experience, combined with my background in travel and customer service, shaped the way I work today. As the founder of Our Destination Weddings, I bring a personalized touch and insider knowledge to every celebration we plan, helping couples feel supported, informed, and confident every step of the way.

My introduction to destination weddings came through my sister’s wedding. Being there, surrounded by family and friends in such an intentional way, showed me how powerful it can be to gather the people you love in one place. It wasn’t just a wedding. It was a reminder of connection, presence, and celebration.
A few years later, planning my own destination wedding felt like an easy decision. Living that experience firsthand confirmed what I already believed. Destination weddings create space for deeper connection, shared memories, and moments that stay with you long after the weekend ends.
That’s what led me here. Today, I’m passionate about helping couples create celebrations that feel personal, meaningful, and true to them. I care deeply about how the experience feels, not just for the couple, but for everyone who’s there to celebrate alongside them.
